This one is a bit crazy. I made it as a sample with my new students at the beginning if the academic year back in September, as I mentioned earlier, and it has slowly been absorbed into my practice. I think it’s the place where I draw when I don’t feel like I know what I’m doing or I don’t feel like I’m making anything I want anyone to see. I do get tempted by the interesting papers sometimes, but the more I use it the more the weird pages are the only ones left….
I’ll leave you with the poissonagon because I think she has some real potential as a future imaginary creature in my latest secret sketchbook. I can’t show you any of it yet because they are just pencil sketches, but I’m building them up so I can paint all summer. Get ready!!
